WBVS PROTOCOL UPDATES REGARDING COVID-19 (updated: May 8th, 2020)
Our hours will continue to be Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm
We will be closed the following Saturdays:
May 16th, May 23rd and May 30th.
*At this time we are not legally allowed (under Governor Whitmer’s executive order for Covid 19) to provide services for non essential appointments or surgeries. This includes nail trims and spay or neuter surgeries.
West Branch Veterinary Services strives to continue to provide medical care for our patients during these difficult times. For everyone’s continued safety, WE CAN STILL NOT HAVE CLIENTS ENTERING THE BUILDING AT THIS TIME. To be able to examine your pet, the process will go as follows:
– As you will recall, our building has a vestibule to walk through before entering the main office lobby. Clients will need to leave their pet in the vestibule, then step back out to their vehicle (please make sure your pet is either on leash or in a carrier).
– A staff member will be waiting in the main lobby to come retrieve your pet. The process will be reversed when it comes time to leave.
– We will NOT be taking any cash payments. All payments must be credit card or Care Credit. We will be taking all payments over the phone at the end of appointments.
– Medication pickups can be done at clinic (or through our online store) but please do not enter the building. We will be using the same process that we are using for pets. Please call when you arrive, and we will set your purchase right outside our exit door.
Pets are family, and their medical needs are essential to us. Continuing to care for your pets, while keeping staff and clients safe, is our top priority. Thank you to everyone for cooperating and adapting to our changes.
The above information will continue through May 28th, in accordance with Governor Whitmer’s executive order.
Please remember telemedine is also available when there is a valid VCPR.
Stay safe, stay healthy
