Ogemaw County is comprised of 14 townships, 2 cities, and a village.  West Branch is the county seat, home to the county courthouse and state and federal offices.

County courthouse and annex building hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  County offices are closed on the following dates:  New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve.  Holidays that fall on Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.  Holidays that fall on Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday.
